Lovely small building

Pros:
This is a pretty great building to live in: quiet, clean, good light.
The landlord is reasonably attentive and also doesn’t bother you too much. It can be *somewhat* tricky to get ahold of her, but stuff also generally works, so it’s ok.
The view is great :).

Cons:
Landlord isn’t super attentive, except about asking you to remove your small shoe rack from the hallway even though there’s plenty of space.
They jacked up the cost of the laundry in the basement to unreasonable levels.

Great, clean, safe building!

Pros:
The building is incredibly clean and well managed. Multiple upgrades to the building where made in the two years I lived here. My unit was also nicely updated before I moved in.
Cons:
The street is quite loud in the evenings, especially in the summer. Lots of block parties. Laundry is coin operated which is a bit inconvenient. Rent also needs to be paid by mailed check. Would be great to have an electronic option.
