Nice apartment - Management isues

Pros:
The apartment itself is nice and the location is pretty great.
Cons:
Two big problems - entryway cleanliness and building management. The biggest issue has been the carbon monoxide leaks and management’s response. We’ve had two in the last three months, and after the first the management company said they fixed the issues but then it happened again and when asked for proof of the previous work done, they ignored our emails. We also requested they bring in someone to verify that the fix was done properly, and they ignored our emails. It’d give us some peace of mind knowing the issue is fixed but they don’t really seem to care.
We’ve also had pretty consistent issue with rats, clouds of flies, and rat poop in the outside entranceway that the management tried to fix early on but now mostly just ignore our emails or take weeks to respond.
In the end the apartment is nice but it’s only really the issues and dealing with management if it’s well below market value.
Advice to owner:
It’d help to change property managers, the current team isn’t great.

Great apartment in general

Pros:
Lots of space, great location. Heat works great, and mgmt updated our appliances
Cons:
The entry way is really awkward though. The entrance is also not obvious to most carriers. we had issues with hot water in shower.
