Like living in a bougie shoebox w paper thin walls
Pros
Great location, great views.
Cons
Management does not care about you, they’re money leeches, and the building has extremely poor construction—I can hear both neighbors on either side of me, the ones above me AND the subway + police station (S line & precinct can get noisy if you’re on that side of the building). If you move here with kids or dogs, your neighbors will probably hate you. You’re going to spend a lot of money for mediocre amenities that you probably won’t use. Apartments are not well planned and constructed with VERY cheap materials. You’re charged to use amenities if you want to host, like the grills, rooftop, rooms, etc ON TOP of the $100 amenity fee you pay every month. They will monitor you on cameras and fine you if you bring more than 3 guests per household! Why am I living under such surveillance?? Wish I knew more before I moved in but was charmed by a brand new building.
Advice to the owners
Maybe actually learn to care about the people that live in the building and the money will come regardless.
Horrible management, prepare to be nickel and dimed
Pros
In unit laundry in some units which is nice and water pressure is fine, can use Verizon fios
Cons
Everything else is trash - management is sooo ass, they literally entered my unit without notice - charge for EVERYTHING, the golf simulator never got built and the theatre room is just a projector and cheap speakers, and the gym is worse than a hotel gym, the grills cost $150 an hour lollllllll - walls are super thin and u can hear every single sound ur neighbor makes and every single sound in the hallway
