Did they do anything about the mice??

They asked us to be cleaner, and I occasionally was home when they happened to send an exterminator. I only saw a difference from my own extreme efforts, and never caught one. In fairness, there were some incredibly rude neighbors who, instead of walking 10 steps out the door to the garbage area, lefts bags of garbage (with food waste) in the foyer. But with huge rats running around and mice wandering around apartments up to the 6th floor, they should have done far more.

Too much to even write out

Pros

Nice neighbors, close enough to subway, cheap

Cons

Garbage, leaks, bugs of every kind, rats, mice, mold, collapsed ceilings, dirty. They will not make repairs but will slap paint over everything so HPD marks issues done as fixed and the cycle continues

Not the worst, not the best

Pros

I loved having elevator access in building but that was just about one of the only good things about this building unfortunately.

Cons

There were constantly rats and other pests, and the landlord company was practically unreachable. I was unable to use my oven because it was broken for the entire duration of living there.

Do they send anyone for pest control regularly after all the complaints of pests?

They have a company come once a month but all they do is put roach gel/peppermint oil. Any further measures like filling holes, traps, etc you have to fight with them about for months
