Better than most..

Pros

The building, while old, is beautiful. Has great character, in building laundry, and roof access. Unit was great! Had character and is a little small, but very livable. Location is also incredible.

Cons

Could be better maintained. Hallways get a bit dirty. Experienced several leaks, though all were fixed quickly by management. Laundry power went out occasionally.

Management is very responsive, apartment is fine

Pros

Management was super responsive the whole time i lived here, fixing things and replacing broken appliances. The super was very speedy to fix anything and everything, though didn't always look nice. Neighborhood is so quiet and the apartment was exactly as advertised.

Cons

You pay & control your own heat, I swear mine never worked well and it cost a fortune. The apartment itself is fine, not newly renovated and had a few broken flooring issues & a leaking stove (which they replaced for me very quickly when I requested, after a visit from FDNY and national grid)

Has there been any rats/pests/roaches problems? Or has management dealt with them properly?

When I lived there in 2021, there was a few roach infestations, but management would send someone to spray pretty soon after flagging. The rats outside are a bit busy, but never had a rat issue in the building!
