Unit 1A and 1B lower level floods during heavy rain…
Pros
Renovated, hallway kept clean, packages safe.
Cons
Unit 1A and 1B lower level floods during heavy rain!!! Like 2-3 times in less than 2 yrs. Total mess. Former tenant said something about the draining level can’t handle >5in rain/hr, so those Summer heavy rain storms for a few hours water floods in from the backyard door. Moved out. Management just paints over the damage. TBD if there’s mold behind the walls. Water attracts pests so after flooding have seen a few German cockroaches, but management sent pest control and they seemed to be gone (that we know of…)
Advice to the owners
Figure out a water pump system to pump out water if the water level rises in the backyard drain…
