Horrible building management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location in crown heights
Cons:
Sporadic maintenance from super. No handling of trash. Filth allover stoop and sidewalk constantly.
Advice to owner:
Get a real super

It’s the dead rat smell for me
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location
Natural light
Affordability (at great cost)
Cons:
-Rats would regularly die in our basement (which is the portal to hell) and the smell would seep into the hallways
-The heating pipes were loud af
-Leaks galore from said pipes
-No laundry
-The trash is completely unmaintained. You will be responsible for taking your trash to the curb and hope the rats won’t make a mess in front of the apartment.
-The building feels like it’s slanting. The stairs seem original and like they could fall under you any moment.
-The “landlord” is unknown. The people you pay rent to are allegedly the owners of the building. However you may be harassed by shady people who claim to be the real owners of the building. Scary weird and unsettling
-The hallways are unkept and lights consistently go out
-Mail from countless previous tenants will be nice to sort through as you look for your mail
-Did I mention the abandoned building next door that is basically a rat nest?
-Rat squeaks to soothe you to sleep
-Health threatening mold allergies? Likely
Advice to owner:
Deal with the fact that this building has been foreclosed since 2014 and you’re running an illegal scheme
