Slum Lord Corporation Owned Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The residents are nice and there is a sense of community
Cons:
Rats, Roaches, No Heat during Heat Season, Drunk People Loitering on Outside Steps Constantly, Noise, Chemical Smells Coming From Hair Salon, Bad Insulation, Cheap Construction, Unresponsive Management who Charges Random Fees, Company Thrives off of Evicting Rent Controlled Residents and Charging Naïve Younger Tenants More, Probably Causing Gentrification in the Neighborhood.
Advice to owner:
Hire more than one super for your 300 units, Fix the unit burned out from the electrical fire, Get better pest control/fix the holes in the building.

Get what you paid for: not much.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is so solid. So much to do on Nostrand!
Cons:
The building is terrible at keeping the place clean. I have had a couple tickets still waiting to be received by management for fixing some things.
Advice to owner:
Increase weekly stop bys. There's poop on in the hallway right now.

Didn't love it
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was in a nice location, pre-pandemic. Big rooms.
Cons:
No heat, lol. The owners were only responsive when something was going wrong in all the apartments, but not when it was just one...Management changed when we moved out so it could be different (left in 2020)
Advice to owner:
A better communication system and a deal live-in super would help.
