First floor apartment was alwasy loaded with pests

Pros

Close to a lot of restaurants. The rent was reasonable too.

Cons

Constant infestation of cockroaches on the first floor. We had an exterminator come quarterly but it never got better.

Advice to the owners

Review the tenants living habits - they contribute to the bugs and their continued existence in the building.

Unresponsive landlord but cheap rent

Pros

- Short walkups - Easy garbage and recycling on bottom floor - Cheap-er rent for the area

Cons

- Mice infestation in winter - Occasional cockroach - 0 response from landlord - Sexist landlord making inappropriate comments to women
