Solid building on a busy street
Pros
Really nice units with balconies. Super is responsive and competent in maintenance. Central air, heat, in-unit washer/dryer, nice views from rooftop, and quiet except when it gets very loud. Bike storage (outdoors).
Cons
Shower had terrible water pressure. My shower also kept getting clogged. Don’t know why. The neighboring building is a common hang out spot for local community + hybrid motorcycle shop. Every few weeks or months they throw extremely loud parties till 4am. Ear plugs won’t save you. However last I saw (2021) they were getting kicked out, so this may now change. Owner took 6 months to return security deposit, tho I got it back in full. Packages got stolen a few times.
Advice to the owners
Setup a bit more automation for security deposit handling!
