Overall good apartment, noisy neighbors
Pros
Overall a nice and clean space to live. The location is close to a grocery store, corner stores, and a park. Quick walk to Kingston Ave 3 is great for commuting, and 45 bus stops right outside the building. The shared basement laundry and in-unit dishwasher are great, and the building always felt safe. The fireproof doors help against package theft, which has happened occasionally but infrequently. The building itself is kept clean, and trash is taken out consistently. I've enjoyed my time living here and have been happy to come home to what is a pretty well-maintained and clean space.
Cons
There has been occasional package theft, which I think is exacerbated by the glass front door. Anyone can see inside if there's something worth taking. The "mailroom" is just the basement and doesn't get used by delivery drivers at all, don't expect anyone to drop it off there instead of the lobby. The property manager is fairly unresponsive and at times hard to get ahold of, but does follow up and helps with issues. Neighbors are NOISY. the ceiling is thin. The bedrooms on the exterior also hear neighboring buildings, as well as the street noise. it's not as bad at it could be, but it's still a fair amount of beeping, sirens, etc. Overall a good place to live with some caveats if i'm being picky.
Building owners are a mystery, don't expect to ever hear from management
Pros
The building is newly renovated so the appliances are nice and clean, new, in good condition.
Cons
We had a super noisy neighbor that was in the building next door. Management didn't offer any solutions or try to help.
