Terrible management company
Pros
The neighborhood! Best block I've lived on.
Cons
The owner of the building lives abroad and outsources management to a woman living in Florida with no understanding of NY rental laws / basic human kindness. Tons of violations that break the warranty of habitability. Barely manages pest control / garbage too.
Advice to the owners
Fix your shit.

Pros
pretty building, fantastic block, excellent neighbors.
Cons
the landlord is an anonymous foreign investor using the property to launder money, and is unwilling to spend money on basic upkeep. property manager is hostile and aggressively incompetent. property is not well maintained, and serious issues (gas leaks, lack of heat and hot water) take forever to resolve.
