Overall nice place but overly intrusive landlord, Apt 2
Pros
- large bedroom and common areas - great natural light - clean - communicative landlord - prompt return of security deposit
Cons
- very thin walls; sound travels easily - must love dogs for landlord - landlord enters apt 2 without giving prior notice - privacy issues; inside the two-story and two-unit building, the door connecting the first floor (landlord’s) to second floor (apt 2) is always unlocked
Advice to the owners
- give advance notice to tenants prior to entering apt 2 - maintain appropriate landlord-tenant boundaries
