Maintenance can be sometimes slow to move on some critical health and safety matters, Preventative maintenance does not seem to be a thing, only break fixes and patch repairs as deemed totally necessary at the time.
Advice to owner:
At least fix the hundred year old wiring, even if you dont care about the people that live there but to preserve the asset.

Nice Building with some problems

Pros:
Nice Neighbors, many have lived here for 30+ years My apartment is relatively updated with new bathroom and appliances
Cons:
Super is not very responsive, his assistant doesn't speak any english so it's hard to communicate with the person who is actually doing the repairs in your apartment. Management never answers phone calls, all on answering service Many older tenants seem to have really bad issues in their apartments but I have not experienced this personally
