Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 1982 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, highlight significant concerns about owner behavior, with multiple reports of intrusive and harassing conduct, contributing to many tenants feeling unsafe. The building suffers from poor cleanliness, inadequate garbage management, and pest issues. Heating and water pressure receive mixed feedback, though generally the heating system seems unreliable for some. While the location near public transit is a noted advantage, security is lacking, particularly first-floor windows and entry systems. Tenants advise against living here unless desperate, citing the need for improved building maintenance, better landlord responsiveness, and enhanced tenant security measures. Overall, the building presents notable challenges for renters.
