A Year in Hell
Former Tenant
Pros:
Both Ben and the property manager Hagar were pleasant, and they genuinely tried to help me when I encountered issues in the building.
Cons:
The building is not well-maintained. The hallways are falling apart, which made me worry about the building's infrastructure. The people who live inside do not value the property or their neighbors. There's constant fighting and yelling in the hallways, trash strewn across the steps, and a general lack of consideration for the space. There is a major roach infestation in the building; in fact, one morning around 3am I used the bathroom and, as I was washing my hands and staring into the mirror, a roach fall out of the ceiling vent behind me. It was a very difficult year for me.
Advice to owner:
You will never attract people who will take care of your property if you continue to let it go uncared for.
