Pros:
The tree in front is nice for privacy. Trash is taken regularly.
Cons:
The landlord was terrible about repairs. He will call his handyman who cannot fix anything and then act like the problem is solved. Fought him for months to get a toilet leaking sewer gas fixed. Neighbors had to hire their own repairman to fix their broken stove and never got reimbursed. Landlord was very shady and often made inappropriate comments. Also when I lived here a family lived on the first floor and the place was so loud from 6am-6pm.
Advice to owner:
Hire proper repair people and treat your tenants with respect.

Pros:
The standup shower is cute.
Cons:
Please do not rent this apartment if you are a single person with no children. you’ll be in the basement with a family over your head and they make so much noise from the break of dawn to late at night.

The landlord swindled me in believing it was just a single woman who lived upstairs with 1 kid. Come to find out, it was a family of 3 kids who ran down the house from the am to the pm. Running, jumping, slamming, moving furniture all day and night and any other type of noise imaginable.

The neighbors are so inconsiderate and the landlord doesn’t take measures to fix the situation. Remodeling needs to be done in this building and the landlord isn’t doing that. I’ve complained to him on several occasions about the noise and little was done. The floors are thin, the walls are thin and the landlord knew this before moving another person into the apartment. The last tenant had a noise defused over her bed. When I moved in I seen it but I wasn’t sure what it was. After I moved in and experienced this chaos, it made perfect sense.

If you like your peace and quiet, please do not rent here. It’s all about money with these slumlords. They don’t care about tenants concerns.
Advice to owner:
The building is old and needs to be repaired. There needs to be more instillation in the floors to minimize the noise from upstairs.
