Disappointing first solo apartment

Pros

Rent is affordable, there is a sparsely equipped gym, a backyard that is sometimes okay, and a nice roof

Cons

I’ve lived here 8 months and the management company has responded to only one need - to put a screen in my window. The oven rarely works, doors won’t close, and I just saw a mouse.

Don’t be a slumlord

the neighbors are amazing, loved the community garden and rooftop access

Cons

unresponsive management, pest problems, and stingy to give back deposit (they did eventually)
