Just don’t do it
Pros
No upstairs neighbors so things were pretty quiet
Cons
The building is a roach nest. Outside the building is filthy. There’s trash everywhere. The foyer area is disgusting. There were roaches from the time we moved in to the time we left. At one point it was so bad we had to leave for a month. Continuous follow ups to the landlord and numerous pest control visits did nothing. The one exterminator said they didn’t want to come because the landlord wouldn’t pay them in a timely manner.
Advice to the owners
Take some serious action against pest control and clean up outside.
