Building Ok, Landlord price gouges
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super was relatively fast when maintenance issues arose.
Cons:
Rent was raised $900 to renew lease for 4th year

Not worth the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
I appreciate the size of the apartment, especially the kitchen and bathroom.
Cons:
The landlord has been unresponsive, rude, and antagonistic from the beginning. After months of the heat not working, management finally replaced the units. The apartment is poorly insulated, so its cold at all times. This means we have to run the heat frequently and the electric bill is extremely high. It adds about a couple hundred to the rent each month. Also, noise easily reverberates. We can hear the downstairs neighbors like they are in the room. The floors shake when they play music and watch tv loudly.
Advice to owner:
Clean the apartment before the next tenants move in. Also, actually check the apartment to see what needs to be replaced and fixed. Do not wait weeks and months to respond to our concerns.

Cons:

4 year review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super close to
JMZ TRAIN and the rooftop
Cons:
Managed by difficult landlords that expect you to use UI $ to cover rent during a pandemic. They are also very frugal about cleanliness, upkeep of the apartment, and waste management. Waste management was the worst
Advice to owner:
Please take good care of the building so tenants are somewhat getting their money’s worth. For the price, people can live somewhere else.
