Landlord is non-responsive and refuses to fix issues. Probably not getting the deposit back either. I have not had a working fridge in 1.5 years. When I brought it up to the landlord he withdrew my lease renewal offer which was already a $500 rent increase. The building has a history of several floods from overflowing sinks and toilets which has lead to a dangerous mold issue. A literal mushroom grew from my walls and I wake up congested every day. Humidity in the apartment is as high as 70% in the summer. Every week the sink gurgles and sewage sludge comes up. Several times the sink overflowed like a river into the living room. Several residents have complained about bug and rodent infestation but nothing was done. I found 2 dead mice in my apartment and I think there is a dead mouse inside the walls because it still smells like something died inside. Locks don’t work properly. You can open the doors with a credit card. The deadbolt does not line up with the door. They will not fix this either which is a concern for security.
