Good Space, Meh Owner/Management

Pros:
Decent sized common area. Really soundproof walls between bedrooms. Polite, nice neighbors. Convenient location. Loved that gas was included in rent.
Cons:
Roof/ceiling leaked multiple times despite the multiple attempts to fix it. It gave the vibe they weren’t bothering to actually get it fixed. A few mice encounters and several (albeit tiny) cockroach encounters.
Also would email management about a problem and give availability but then they would suggest a day I did not mention I was available on. Made me feel like they were not reading my email at all. Also tried to renew with a new roommate but was told owner had a “new” rule where roommates had to move in and out together which would have been nice to know about ahead of time. Just kind of gave sleazy vibes.
Neighbors in surrounding buildings were noisy at times especially for rear facing apartments.
