Pros:
Quiet neighbors, well-maintained building, responsive management
Cons:
Neighbors in surrounding buildings were noisy at times especially for rear facing apartments.

Can’t Complain Much

Pros:
I like that the place was clean and freshly painted when we moved in and that the oven and fridge were new. I also like the building residents are friendly but generally keep to themselves. Our place got cold with a window a/c in the summer and the place has a thermostat so you don’t die from the heat in the winter either. The water pressure in the place is good as well. The hot water also gets super hot so it makes me feel like I’m cleaning the dishes really well which I like. Overall I like our place and building!
Cons:
Our building had a roach problem and it took multiple times contacting the landlord for her to send an exterminator but now she says she’ll send one more regularly which is nice. I like to drink cold water and it takes a long time for the water from the sink to get cold, it always starts off warm which is weird! Also, under our sink leaks if you leave the water running too long and the place is very drafty. We have a thermostat but the place would never get warmer than 70°F in the winter and that was terrible on the cold days of winter!
Advice to owner:
Be quicker to respond to your tenants concerns and check in with them every 6 months or so to make sure everything is ok. Also seal the drafts, the windows don’t seem to close air tight.
