Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 368 Throop Avenue highlight a building with appealing features like hardwood floors, balconies, rooftop access, and strong water pressure. Tenants appreciate the quiet environment, safe package deliveries, and proximity to local shops. However, persistent ant infestations, especially in warmer months, and poor insulation causing heating issues in winter are common concerns. Garbage management and building cleanliness receive mixed feedback, with calls for improved maintenance and more timely repair responses. While some renters find management responsive, others suggest greater attention to upkeep. Overall, the building offers attractive amenities and a good location but could benefit from enhanced pest control and maintenance efforts.

It's decent- I guess.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Hardwood floors, closets in each room, great water pressure, rooftop access, online rent payment options, washer and dryer in basement, balcony.
Cons:
Ants during summer and spring, repair tickets get closed without fixes, very poor insulation; the winters are freezing.
Advice to owner:
Take repairs seriously and in a timely manner.

Not terrible, not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked the fact that the building is pretty quiet, your packages are typically safe because people don’t steal. I also really enjoy the local stores and eateries around the area. There is laundry in the basement but also a laundromat right downstairs. They have someone mop and sweep weekly.
Cons:
Terrible ant problem during the summer, rooms are small, the electricity bill can be really high because the foundation of the building isn’t the best so you’re either always freezing in the winter and sweating during the summer. I also wish they did a better job at maintaining the building in general.
Advice to owner:
Investing in more cleaning and upkeep of the building itself.
