Great super, negligent management

Great location, decent space for the price, rent stabilized
Cons
Management ignores any issues that can’t be resolved by the super on a single visit. The super comes quickly when we report something but as soon as it’s determined that the maintenance/repair requires a bigger spend management ghosts us. Heat repairs take days, AC repairs take weeks to months. We don’t tend to get movement on large scale maintenance issues until we threaten to withhold rent or call 311.
Advice to the owners
Just fix things when they’re reported! We don’t enjoy fighting with you- we just want things to work
Management Slow to Respond
Pros
Gym, elevator (but it is extremely slow), trash is handled well someone takes it out every day from the communal trash room
Cons
If you are a handyman then you would thrive here. The super is competent but to access him you have to go through so many loops and hurdles to get in touch with management and make an appointment for the super to come. Management is slow to respond, close early on Fridays when most people are remote and able to let the super in, and don’t have anyone for weekend emergencies. If your appliances aren’t working, you have no hot water, you have a leak in the ceiling, or any other tasks needed fixed, you will probably have to wait a long time for your problems to resolve your issues.
