Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 107 Van Buren Street reveal significant issues with building maintenance and management. Tenants report poor cleanliness and garbage management, with common areas often filthy and neglected. Noise levels are consistently high due to thin walls and unruly neighbors, compromising resident comfort. Heating is unreliable or causes discomfort, and pest problems, including mice and roaches, are prevalent. Water pressure varies but is occasionally adequate. Horrible building. Abraham Schwartz is a crook and will trick you.
Former Tenant
Pros:
In-unit washer drier. Location.
Cons:
Abraham Schwartz is withholding our security deposit and is a total crook. The building is filthy outside of the unit, and the walls are thin, so the people living there play music loudly to drown each other out.
The building is constantly smoky and smoke comes up out of the radiator. The landlord ignored our concerns.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants and building with even a morsel of respect.

Former Tenant
Pros:
There are no pros.
Cons:
Pretty sure the entire front of the building is falling off, multiple tenants have litigation claims starting, the common hallways are full of garbage, heat is only on in mornings, windows not properly fitted to opening causing it to be cold, mold everywhere.
Advice to owner:
Stop being a property owner
