Bed Stuy Ground Floor w/ Garden
Pros
The loveliest neighbors I've ever had, really looked out for me. Great area right near Tompkins. Lovely big backyard.
Cons
Pretty dark apartment (ground floor), water heater broke and flooded the basement, a lot of critters/bugs as doors and windows weren't properly sealed, the front door's locks were outdated/could be jimmied open. The biggest issue for me was the relationship with the landlord, when I approached her with an issue it was met with stress and avoidance. Ultimately she evicted me and said her elderly mother was moving in and now a young man lives in the apartment. The relationship was really disappointing.
