Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews of 25 Lexington Avenue in Brooklyn highlight a well-maintained building with free laundry facilities and a friendly super. However, there are concerns about slow response to maintenance issues, occasional breakdowns, and thin walls causing noise disturbances. Rent increases and the management's focus on profit over tenant needs have led to dissatisfaction. The presence of pests and lack of proactive maintenance are noticeable drawbacks. While some appreciate the neighborhood and amenities, the general sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction with the management's priorities and upkeep practices.

Pleasant and generally well maintained - but taken a dive recently
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's a well built building that has been modernized pretty well for the most part. The building is kept really clean. The super is only part time (2x days a week) but he is great and friendly. The laundry is free and has nice machines.
Cons:
The management company has been increasingly dropping the ball, responding to more difficult maintenance jobs slowly. There’s often something broken - ranging from a single washing machine, to an elevator (for over a month), to the front door. The walls are somewhat thin.
Advice to owner:
Preventative maintenance

Nice neighbors and area, terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
great laundry machines, small gym but something, nice quiet area, elevator is nice and spacious
Cons:
cockroach infestation at move in, asked not to sign lease for second year and saw later they cut our one bed into two and then increasing rent by almost 1K, management company did not care about pests and it took 2-3 months to remove them, no walk through at move in but required walk through at least exit
