Great Building, HORRIBLE Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very clean and updated apartment, relatively cheap rent. No bugs or water pressure issues. A short walk away from Domino Park and tons of cute restaurants and bars!
Cons:
The landlord was awful - getting repairs took months of nagging to finally get them taken care of. It took me 6 months and approximately 120 Venmo requests and filing a suit with the attorney general to get my security deposit back.
Advice to owner:
Quit being sleazy

Honestly a Great Place to Live (if you can deal with the landlord)
Former Tenant
Pros:
Truly a great apartment. 5 stars all around for noise levels, cleanliness (they are newly renovated), each room has its own heating and cooling which is awesome. It’s an awesome location in the heart of South Williamsburg and so close to the JMZ trains, I would highly recommend living here.
Cons:
The only bad thing is the landlord can be very unresponsive. However, whenever we did have a problem, even if it did take a month and multiple calls/texts and begging everyday for him to come, it would get fixed. Also, my security deposit took 3 months to get back (I texted him every. Single. Day after I moved out and FINALLY got it back) so be aware. If you don’t pester him for it back he’ll try to rip you off. The previous tenants warned me about that.
Advice to owner:
Please be better about returning security deposits, especially to tenants who took great care of the space.
