Affordable and relatively nice looking interiors
Incredibly drafty, so heat does not work well. Multiple vacant lots on block and unkept-looking buildings attract vagrants to the block, especially at night. Landlord is MIA and landlord rep is evasive when items requiring maintenance arise. Rodent problem in building and on block in general. Very little sound isolation - can hear everything in building and outside of building.
