Terrible building management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice area, can’t think of anything else
Cons:
The worst rental experience out of my 10 years in New York, and my entire life. Massive cockroaches coming in the building and up sinks. multiple power outages in the building that were not resolved for hours. TERRIBLE building management (as in psychotic and unprofessional). They never did repairs, despite emailing and calling the building manager for a year and spending over $2000 a month on a shoebox. The building manager, Katherine Kadziolka, is extremely unprofessional, unpleasant, hostile, rude and unhelpful. She sends demeaning and threatening emails to her tenants, and even created fake scenarios/lies to keep security deposit. Do yourself a favor and don’t give your money to these people.
Advice to owner:
Dear March First Properties, hire a new building manager who is respectful to tenants.
