Review Summary for 139 North 10 Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight the mixed experience at 139 North 10 Street, Brooklyn. The building boasts cleanliness, excellent pest control, and good water pressure. However, noise issues due to poor sound insulation, rent hikes, and unresponsive landlords are concerns. Positive aspects include a helpful porter, nice finishes, and friendly neighbors. Amenities like a fitness room are desired. While the location and aesthetics are praised, maintenance delays and management communication need improvement. Renters appreciate the loft living but suggest addressing noise disturbances and addressing rent increases to enhance overall satisfaction.

Do not live here, there is zero sound insulation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, nice finishes, central air, but not worth how shoddy the construction is
Cons:
SOUND EVERYWHERE on all sides. Upstairs neighbor (footsteps, things dropping), left neighbors, right neighbors, downstairs neighbors. Can hear talking at a normal volume and laughing. Could hear the downstairs neighbors watching silicon valley everyday and recognized the theme song.

Sound from the street too.

Tried to talk to neighbors but nothing could really be done because the problem is in the structure of the building itself. We tried everything.

A Positive Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Our Porter is a rockstar. He is excellent- deliver packages to our doors, seemingly is constantly cleaning and taking care of the trash.
Cons:
Overpriced for no big amenities. Nice rooftop, but would like a gym/fitness room for the price we pay. New owners came in and started cranking up the rent.
Advice to owner:
Stop raising the rent so much. Give our Porter a raise/promotion.
