Building Report
Review Summary for 56 Ainslie Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews showcase a mixed experience at 56 AINSLIE STREET in Brooklyn. While the building boasts a good location and cleanliness, management inefficiency and cheap construction are concerning. Tenants appreciate the proximity to public transit and neighborhood amenities but face challenges with unresponsive management. Despite some drawbacks like noise near the highway, the building offers decent amenities like a rooftop with Manhattan views. Management responsiveness varies, and there are concerns about rent increases. Overall, the building's proximity to Williamsburg's offerings and transportation options make it an attractive choice, but improvements in management and construction quality are suggested.

Terrible Management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location by train
Cons:
Management is awful. Place is new building but everything constructed and made extremely cheaply. They take weeks to fox issues and tried to jack up rent over 50% after one year
Advice to owner:
Read the tenant rights

Great location, unresponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice, clean, great sunlight. The neighborhood is great and very near the L and G trains.
Cons:
Management isn’t super responsive or interested in making any improvements to the building. We literally got snowed in to the building on a Saturday because no one came to shovel until after 3 pm.

Out of the way, but near the heart of Williamsburg.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is so close to the L train, just a short block and a half away. You're right nearby all that Williamsburg has to offer. The rooftop has amazing, sweeping views of Manhattan. Nice, 2nd deck patio, work/lounge area and small workout room. Management was responsive and helpful, and I rarely encountered any issues.
Cons:
It's a bit loud near the highway, if you're sensitive to noise. The building has a men's shelter across the street.
