Horrible Management but Good Bones

Pros

Hardwood floors, great location, decent value, rent controlled, friendly neighbors

Cons

Horrible horrible horrible management, no elevator, no responsiveness or responsibility taken by the ownership whatsoever. Dirty halls, consistent package theft, outdated intercom system. Washer dryer room disgusting and hasn’t works for months.

Have some sort of communication system with your tenants!

Super isn’t reliable , roaches and mice in hallways and around garbage in front of building. Buildings Laundry matt is out of service for almost a year .

Advice to the owners

Fix apartments for the elderly . Update the bathrooms. Having a cast iron tub with legs , that needs yearly maintained due to peeling off and rust is disgusting.
