Good building, great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, fabulous location. Management company is responsive, for the most part. I feel respected in my interactions with them. Building isn’t fancy, but units have nice appliances and finishes. Each unit has outdoor space, much of it sizable, and the block is exceptionally quiet and pleasant.
Cons:
Heat is electrical, and it the above door heat/ac units are exorbitantly expensive to run. It’s clear there was very little insulation put in, so winter is miserable and expensive.

Some maintenance requests never get followed up on, and the app for paying rents and submitting requests is clunky and hard to use. You have to pay a processing fee when you pay rent, which feels scammy. There’s a rat issue with the block (not the building’s fault), and they do nothing to mitigate this on the property.
Advice to owner:
We already pay our rent, don’t make us pay a processing fee. Also, please consider redoing doors and windows to make heat conservation possible.
