Imperfect, but a great place to live.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The community of people who live here have been in the building or neighborhood for a long time and are wonderful neighbors. The location is unbeatable, particularly for a relatively low rent for the area. Our unit gets incredible light and the open floor plan provides more livable space than most NYC apartments.
Cons:
The building is quite old. This means slow draining pipes, occasional leaks and creaks, and other little quirks throughout the apartment. The landlord is also getting older and while he is incredibly kind, his response time to issues that arise is not always expeditious.
