Nice renovation in apartments, issues with water leakage

Pros:
The units have been nicely renovated with modern appliances, and have tall ceilings and hardwood floors.
Cons:
The heating/cooling system is old. We had water leak out of our ceiling multiple times.

Incredibly small, with broken windows, floorboards and major cockroach and mouse infestation
