The MOST spacious place
Pros
I lived in this 3/2 about 1.5 years with a partner and two cats. Was amazing to have separate full bathroom and bedrooms for personal space and decorative reasons plus home office as we both worked at home. So nice to have a large kitchen and big living room as well. So many closets too!! The live in landlord brought packages inside so we experienced ZERO package theft. Every holiday had decorations to look forward to and the family that owned and operated the space was truly lovely. Snow and ice was always removed from the steps. If a problem in the apartment arose we told the landlords and they either came to see and fixed it, or kept us abridged with the appointment making process. From the living room and office there was a wonderful view of the skyline, including the Empire State Building. Loved watching the light show from it every night. The back bedroom had a great view of the Kosciusko Bridge. Each room had an abundance of outlets. Extra exterior doors were incredibly helpful with the move in and out. Close proximity to a lovely little park and some cute restaurants.
Cons
It was quite far (15-19 min walk) to the two closest subway stations which is nice only in certain seasons, and the bus could be unpredictable. **Uber/lyft was always there within 2min!** With a car parking could be hard after 5 but that’s nyc. The neighbors had a problem with any noise but didn’t mind making it themselves- just get a white noise machine, rugs, and remember you’re in NYC. Of course you can hear people at times.
