Review Summary for 130 Engert Avenue
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 130 Engert Avenue reveal a building with spacious units in a central Greenpoint location near parks, appreciated for quiet surroundings and decent noise levels. However, renters report severe issues with the landlord, describing him as aggressive, intrusive, and exhibiting racist and sexist behavior. Maintenance problems are frequent, including lack of heat, water outages, poor pest control, and unresolved appliance issues. Tenants highlight poor owner responsiveness and contested rent stabilization. Despite some positives like the neighborhood and size of units, the hostile management and inadequate upkeep significantly detract from living conditions, leading many not to recommend the building.
