Big Apartment, Old Building
Pros
Charming old apartment, very large, it’s in Greenpoint.
Cons
- Right by Mcguiness Boulevard - Building is so old, floors creek when you walk, things fall over and break easily, always problems with the roof - mice in the kitchen, owner did not do anything serious about it. He sent the super twice, and he did not block all the holes. He never sent an exterminator despite me asking him to, and despite catching 6 mice in 5 days. - hallway smells bad, staircase dirty
Advice to the owners
Address the mice situation and send an exterminator (a real professional one) as soon as your tenant who is paying 2800$ for a one bedroom asks you to.
