Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 269 Meserole Street, Brooklyn underscore spacious apartments with high ceilings and appealing character, complemented by in-unit laundry and proximity to transit. The building is noted for cleanliness and a generally safe environment. However, persistent noise issues—from nearby clubs and an event space below—significantly impact living quality, with tenants reporting disturbances into late hours. Maintenance and management responsiveness show inconsistency, with some complaints about unaddressed repairs and poor communication. Garbage management also appears problematic at times, alongside concerns about package theft. Rent increases are steep, contributing to mixed tenant satisfaction. Overall, the building offers strong amenities but faces challenges in noise control and property management.

Would stay here if it wasn’t noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in unit, close to L, has everything you need really. The apartments have the largest living rooms I’ve seen with high ceiling. Has an artist loft vibe
Cons:
Really really noisy coz it’s right across from 3 clubs. You can literally hear what they’re playing inside + the party spills out to the street at 4am, even on weekdays.
