Pretty crappy apartment, subpar management
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Large rooms
- Nice greenery outside
- Surprisingly few vermin inside the building
Cons:
- We went a month and a half without cooking gas because landlord didn’t provide basement access to utility company at the agreed upon times.
- Windows leak and flood during light rain - never repaired no matter how much we asked. There is no apparent superintendent or clear maintenance request avenue, all the phone numbers posted are disconnected or go to wrong numbers.
- Hallways reeked of dog feces and urine year round
- Walls so thin, a neighbor’s cough or a passing car sounds like they are in the room with you. There is very active street nightlife in front of the building so do not move here if you expect peaceful night sleeps.
- Since you can’t adjust A/C by room, 3 digit electricity bills all year
- Expect exorbitant rent raise at the end of the lease for what you’re getting
Advice to owner:
- Update your contact information respect your tenants and fix your tenant’s maintenace issues.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors. Owners do respond to tickets quickly. Central air.
Cons:
Lots of Rats in the area and running through walls, but not inside. High electric bill. Street noice sometimes bad in summer.
Advice to owner:
Building needs to professionally sealed against rodents.
