Cool Place, Rent's Cheap for a Reason

Pros:
It has some gorgeous features. There's huge windows and lovely red-brick walls in the center of Bushwick nightlife.
Cons:
Everything's a little janky. Electrical issues are the biggest problem. There are roaches, though we've only seen big ones at this point.
Advice to owner:
Get someone to clean the hallway and work on the electrical issues.

Good location - old neighbors try to run out new people

Pros:
Interior of apartment is beautiful. It's very close to a lot of locations. The rent is decent for the current economy. Owners are marginally responsive.
Cons:
Knickerbocker is a very loud road. Rent stabilized neighbors know they can abuse the system with no repercussions. Have multiple videos of them admitting to assault, threating our lives, smoking inside.
Advice to owner:
Figure out how to remove the people paying 1/3 rent and causing 3x the amount of issues in the apartment complex.

Just Ok, Garbage a PROBLEM

Pros:
Managemant company responds within 24 hours Great water pressure Great location in Bushwick
Cons:
Garbage area can easily get out of control and sidewalk is usually very dirty Homeless people will often sit or sleep on the stairs and management has no solution Neighbors can be loud and play loud music during the day, usually not late at night
Advice to owner:
Add an extra trash collection day Fix the front gate so no one can loiter
