Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews at 304 Troutman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11237, highlight concerns about poor insulation causing high winter electricity bills, unaddressed mice problems, and mosquito-infested backyard in warmer months. Tenants appreciate the area's amenities but criticize unresponsive management, non-functional heating, and persistent leaks. Suggestions include better responsiveness and infrastructure upgrades. The consensus leans towards dissatisfaction with management's neglect of structural issues despite the building's good location and some classic details. Overall, tenants question the commitment of CCM to providing safe and functional housing despite its sizable unit portfolio.

Pros:
I love the area that the building is in. Plenty of great food and nightlife around as well as very easy access to L and JM trains.
Cons:
In the winter your electricity bill is crazy high because this building is so so poorly insulated. It is a very old building and never really feels truly clean. We lived on the first floor and had a good amount of mice problems that the management was not eager to help with. The backyard is nice, but as soon as it gets warm enough outside to use it, it becomes infested with mosquitoes that won't let you stay outside for more than about 5 minutes without being eaten alive.
-Management is unresponsive. Never was able to get in touch with anyone over the phone and it would take weeks to get someone to reply to an email -Heat did not work all winter -had multiple leaks to the point that it was raining from my ceiling
Advice to owner:
-Be more responsive to you tenants -Replace the heating system like the electrician suggested
