Good Home with Good Neighbors — absent landlord

Pros:
This building is in such a good location, extremely central to everything. The neighbors are good, and it’s a decent home.
Cons:
The landlord is really very unresponsive. The lock on the front door has been broken since we moved in 2 lease cycles ago, and despite being contacted multiple times over two years, he fixed it only last week because someone kicked the door in and broke in. It sucks to get anything done with him but on the bright side he doesn’t interfere/micromanage
Advice to owner:
Please manage your properties better. It shouldn’t take so much from us as tenants to get basic things done, it should never take 2 YEARS to get a door that locks. That is basic safety. Multiple tenants contacted you about the radiator problem and you didn’t seem to care until there was threat of water damage. This also spanned over 6 months. We could use some pest management on the first floor, and more clarity about how to contact you.
