Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenants at 330 Starr Street, Brooklyn, appreciate the building's convenient location, spacious layouts, rooftop access, and good neighbors. Apartments offer strong heating and individual AC units. However, management receives consistent criticism for unresponsiveness, poor maintenance, and ineffective pest control. Recurring issues with leaks, mold, and garbage pileup are common, with repairs often delayed or inadequately handled by unskilled staff. Despite some positive features, renters caution against moving here due to ongoing maintenance problems and management shortcomings. Improvements in professional maintenance, pest control, and garbage management are essential to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Great Location, Leaky and Moldy Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, rooftop views, washer&dryer in unit, dark hardwood floors.
Cons:
Leaks were never addressed correctly and many units have recurring mold as a result. Also roaches and ants run rampant, even though the management claims to send an exterminator monthly (the technician shows up but never works hard to notify tenants that he’s making his rounds). Management often send unskilled handymen who try to fix it before getting actual professionals. Also good luck getting any help on holidays or weekends.
Advice to owner:
Hire proper technicians, do actual mold remediation and keep the outdoor walkway clean and clear.
