Avoid at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is the only pro.
Cons:
Roaches, rats, mold, ceiling leaking, AC units leaking, unresponsive maintenance, landlord uses a fake name (goes by Rupert- real name is Deodat Lawton) and curses out tenants regularly in response to routine maintenance requests. Retaliated against tenants for calling 311 (as a last resort).
Advice to owner:
I have none as I truly believe you are a lost cause. Start with using a real name.

DONT DO IT
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and decent size
Cons:
Terrible management; slumlords
This place is a sh*t hole
Former Tenant
Pros:
Literally none other than location. This landlord is a slumlord who EVICTED our black disabled neighbor who is now homeless after the building CAUGHT FIRE because he refused to install smoke alarms.
Cons:
Roaches, rats, debris, there is zero cleanliness or oversight. The landlord literally used a fake name because he’s such a POS. I truly cannot give this a worse rating. Avoid this rental and all of his other properties at all cost. There was literally a protest against this man because he’s such a slumlord. His FAKE NAME IS RUPERT.
Advice to owner:
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN. He crammed 5 rooms into a 2 bedroom apartment and nothing is to code. His building literally caught fire and the tenants could have died because he had too many people crammed into his apartments so he can Jack up the price and three of the five had no way to escape the fire.
