767 Hart St. Review after 1.5 years living here
Pros
The maintenance team is pretty quick and committed to responding to requests. There also aren't too many pest issues inside the unit as there is someone who comes by monthly to spray for bugs. The location is really nice as there's so many shops, restaurants, and bars near by. It's also pretty close to the L and the M and close to multiple grocery stores and Maria-Hernandez park which is nice.
Cons
With the long skinny layouts of these units, there aren't any windows in the kitchens/living rooms. Additionally, the noise insulation is bad here. The walls are very thin, and the windows don't do a good job of keeping out sound. With bedrooms on each side of the apartments, one bedroom will have a window facing Hart St., which can get loud at times with cars honking, but this room will also get direct sunlight. The bedroom on the other side has a window facing the backyard which is much quieter, however, this window gets no direct sunlight. There is not much counter space in the kitchens. Also the skinny layout of the kitchen/living room makes it tough to comfortably fit coffee or dinner tables.
Advice to the owners
When people have questions about their lease, it'd be nice if you and your team were quicker to respond. It took my roommates and I over a month of calling/emailing to finally get a response on a lease extension.
