Pros:
- very close to the dekalb L
-everyone on the block is friendly
-everyone on the block is friendly
Cons:
-landlord goes under a FAKE NAME because he has so many court cases, goes by a fake name: Rupert! his real name is deodat lowtan- voted 19th worst landlord in NYC in 2019, has reddit threads and articles written about him
-charged us for the WHOLE BUILDINGS con ed bill and when we had con ed representatives come to investigate he would change the locks to the boiler room, i wish i was joking.
-scammed and evicted 6 out of 8 units, of long time residents
-will hang up the phone in the middle of a call with you and not call you back then shout at you that he's busy
-had to get the maintence mans number to get anything fixed
- no mail system
-moved in and had no fridge or oven for a week, the place was full of sawdust
-whole building has roaches
-our fire escape rotted thru
-way overcharging for how small the apartments are
- across the street from brooklyns rowdiest bar
