Cute and spacious apartment in a great part of town
Pros
The landlord was very responsive to maintenance requests. The rent was reasonable for the amount of space we had. Lots of good restaurants and bars in the area. Relatively quiet at night despite being on a main road (bedrooms dave away from street).
Cons
The landlord rarely sent anyone to take the trash out to the sidewalk. Garbage out front often got out of control. The landlord also came to do repairs himself and sometimes didn’t really know what he was doing so stuff would take longer than necessary to fix.
Advice to the owners
Hire a super.
