awful landlord, run down, spacious

Pros:
skylights, tall ceilings, accessible to lots of public transport, big windows, exposed brick, laundry next door, garden next door
Cons:
landlord refused to take care of bed bug problem and told us to just move out. After trying to fight, we are just going to move. Landlord would call you a bad person for asking for apartment fixes. It was nuts. No fire safety
Advice to owner:
Fumigate. Get fire escapes. Allow roof access.

Was getting bitten by by bed bugs after less than a month of moving in

Pros:
Really nice apt and neighbors. Lovely distance to train and very spacious closets.
Cons:
Failed to see previous open igloo review about bed bugs until the day we moved in. Landlord sent someone to spray baseboards but low and behold we found bed bugs crawling on our things in no time and had allergic reactions to bites. Landlord “has no money” to fix the issue. We moved out after a month and were not reimbursed for any of the costs of fumigating our things.
Advice to owner:
Get the entire building inspected and then bomb it with vikane gas
